Apple Pie should be made with the help of somebody's Grandma. That's why we nailed down our recipe under the watchful eye our our Grandma "M", in her tiny kitchen in Aspen.
"M" taught us to make our bar sweet [but not too sweet], with a cinnamon pop and a smooth nutty finish.
We find that Apple Pie is best eaten over granola, or mixed in with ice cream, while sitting in a rocking chair, or after a good round of badminton. However you enjoy, remember to compost the wrapper.
